![]() My belief is now that if you pay through CC Paypal and the transaction gets ugly you're most likely to get your money back no matter what. However following everyone explanations and trying to look online, it seems that selling isn't safe compare to buying. As has already been mentioned, I include PayPal fees, shipping, and insurance in the price, but I also always require a signature and will only ship to a confirmed PayPal address associated with the paying account. I've sold a number of expensive items here without any problems. You will have to be a member to list an ad. I don't think you have to be a B&S member to see the feedback but maybe you do. Then click the Green box and you can read the reviews others posted after a sale. You will see a Green box with a number in it.hopefully you won't see the Yellow or Red boxes. You click on PROFILE at the bottom of a users post on any board and you will see their feedback. You can click on the feedback status bar and view all the feedback left from the user's previous transactions. Alternatively, you may click the "profile" button at the bottom of the user's post, bringing up the user's profile and feedback status bar. It is shown on the left hand panel under the username. I believe the feedback status is only visible when you're in the B&S forums itself. You can click on the numbers and read transaction reviews. Feedback status for purchases and sales is in their profile near the top. I know I would hate to show my face around here again if I ever had a deal go bad somehow. ![]() The community aspect helps to ensure smooth transactions to a certain extent. Like others have said, make sure to deal with active forum members with good feedback. I don't know how people sell on ebay with their ridiculous fees (especially on electronics), but anyway. ![]()
