![]() ![]() The location of the raid was the Caverns of Time in Tanaris. Alliance players don't get to fight with Horde players instead, you fight alongside Orc NPC characters. Zul'Amanīattle for Mount Hyjal - Mount Hyjal is mythical lore that saw the Alliance and the Horde band together to defeat Archimonde, one of the senior leaders of the Burning Legion. The raid's main enemies were the Amani trolls. The raid version is no longer available unless Blizzard returns to it as they've done with the original version. This raid was later updated and downgraded to become a dungeon. ![]() Zul'Aman - Zul'Aman was a raid that took place in Ghostlands, one of the starting zones for the Blood Elves. To access the dungeon, you would enter the building from the side entrance, which had previously allowed you to skip half the raid had you completed it earlier. Unlike previous updates, the original raid was left in place and accessible. The raid was upgraded to become a large dungeon in Legion. One of the first bosses in the raid dropped a mount and would see people visit time and again to get the mount. Karazhan was a very tall castle which saw players aim to reach the top to kill the Dranei boss. Karazhan - Although most of the action took place in Outlands, the first raid of the expansion took place in Azeroth. It was something that the producers tried to change in Warlords of Draenor, but consumer power persisted, and the producers relented and enabled flying. ![]() Flying is not possible in the new starting zones and still isn't even when the rest of the world is flight enabled. Certain dungeons and the Tempest Keep dungeon are only accessible through flight. The expansion allowed the players to fly, thereby avoiding all the trash on the ground. The arrival of both races allowed the Alliance to have Shaman characters and the Horde Paladins. The Blood Elves were a branch of the Night Elves race who had studied the Sunwell and had become addicted to arcane powers. The Draenei had come from Draenor, where they had settled after the Burning Legion had corrupted their home world Argus. The expansion saw the appearance of the Draenei and the Blood Elves, who would be recruited into the Alliance and the Horde, respectively. Only an asteroid is what is left of Draenor. ![]() The Orcs would experiment too much with Fel energy, destroying Draenor. The Orcs had lived on the planet Draenor for thousands of years until the Burning Legion arrived and corrupted the Orcs by empowering certain individuals, such as Gul'dan, with Fel power. The orcs would invade Azeroth through a Dark Portal. The main action in levelling would take place on the Outlands, the remnants of Draenor, the birthplace of the Orcs.
